My review is only 3 stars because tech Sean was such a great guy who was very patient with me and my 200 questions.

I contacted Gatsby to come out for an estimate for a new HVAC system. Salesman Steve came out we had pleasant conversation while he took precise measurements and went over my options with me. Originally, I was going to go with them, but wanted to get a few local quotes first from smaller companies. I expressed to Steve that I needed a few more days to decide and he gave me an extra week to think about it which I greatly appreciated. He was willing to knock 3 grand off the total which in retrospect was nice, but that told me I was getting overcharged anyway. I ended up going with a smaller company for way less. I told this to Steve and he proceeded to act, in my opinion, manipulative over our text conversation. He said things such as "I thought we had a great conversation." and "I thought you enjoyed my company." and mentioned how he tried to get a lower price for me, trying to make me feel bad for him. I'm not too ticked off about any of this, but thought it was very unprofessional and manipulative to try and make me feel bad for him losing out on a sale. Instead, maybe next time ask the customer what you and your company can do better to make a sale. Besides this, he was a nice guy. The receptionist is always sounding cheery as well. I just didn't appreciate trying to be manipulated back into a sale.

They installed a new HVAC system when my AC died during the heat wave in june. I had to wait 10 days to get the job done but they did let me borrow 2 portable AC units. The team that installed it was very professional and so nice. However, they offered me financing through Greenleap. The most horrible experience I've ever had with a loan company. They kept leaving me voicemails that they needed to talk to me about my loan. When I called them back they'd say my loan was fine and would start telemarketing me and trying to sell me more loans. It was infuriating. Then after I made 2 payments on my loan I noticed all my money was going to interest and none of my payments were going towards the principal. I called them to fix it and they said I accrued almost 600 dollars in interest over a 2 month period between the time I was approved for the loan in july and my first payment in September. And the contract said I had to pay that before any money went to the principal. Thats freaking insane! Whatever you do don't use their loan company. They are taking advantage of people. I did complain to professor gatsby. I hope they get a new financing company. But i reccomend getting your own financing from your bank so u don't get ripped off like me.

HVAC technicians, Dominick and John serviced my HVAC in preparation for winter. They were extremely cordial, professional, punctual and mostly informative for me to make decisions. Their demeanor was superb with a friendly welcome to Professor Gatsby family of customers. Unlike so many other contractors, these two men pointed out possible future failures and were going to be here if and when any problems arise. Thank you both.

Brandon & team were incredible. Really caring and sweet people who are knowledgeable and responsible. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and make a great decision on a very important project for your home. My family and I are really particular, look for best value and quality - and they only bring the best to the table from character/service to product/work. Meticulous, Clean, & Proper. Hard to come across these days, people who sincerely care. Highly recommend.

Ricky arrived ready to take on the challenge of finding a replacement valve for our old fashioned boiler / heater system.

He took pictures and got right on the phone with his supervisor to start the hunt for the replacement valve……we have an appointment next week!

Great service and Ricky provided fantastic customer service with a smile … Something you don’t find these days…..highly recommend Professor Gatsby!

Professor Gatsby’s was one of four contractors I called when replacing my heater and air conditioner. Matt’s presentation was clearly the best. He explained the options and his recommendations, but more importantly, I got a sense from him that he and his team would install the equipment just as they would want it done in their own homes. I did a fair amount of research on Heater/AC replacements, and I found that many consider the quality of the installation to be as or more important to reliability than the equipment being installed. Matt, Kevin and Brian did not disappoint - they were very respectful of my home and did a beautiful job! They were very professional, and worked without even a lunch break, from 8am to 9pm, to make sure that we wouldn’t be left without heat. They will definitely get all of my future related business, and I’ll be recommending them to friends without reservation.

Professor Gatsby is always professional and always so helpful!! We needed a new air conditioner, and Gatsby’s went above and beyond starting with a complete diagnostics before making any recommendations. The technicians were very knowledgeable, and identified problems that have existed within our system for years that no other company had bothered to alert us to or address. So when we switched to heat and our system was not keeping the temperature, we immediately called Professor Gatsby’s and we were once again glad we did!!! The technician did a complete service on our heater and identified the problem, and we were surprised that the bill was very reasonable. The tech was here 3-4 hours and only charged us 385.00 for the part and repair.

Professor Gatsby's was called to my house to work on my gas furnace. Ricardo was who we dealt with, and honestly if I could give him ten stars, I would. Everything about this man was great. He was professional, kind, and courteous. He was reliable and on time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns.
