Great experience and customer service. Brandon was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the entire process and answered all of our questions. On install day, Scott, Kyle, Josh, Tom, Sal, Joel, Jason and Dom were nothing but first class. Amazing workers. After two days being around them, they all felt like family. We worked with Steve C for initial proposal, selection of units, coordination for rebates and financing. Steve was great through-out including multiple communications over the weekend between our first proposal on Friday and installation on Tuesday.

Through-out the process Steve provided excellent customer service, including support for changes to include Air Conditioner replacement in addition to the Furnace.

Chris F and his team did an excellent job for the installation. Chris and 1 team member arrived promptly at 7:30 as scheduled and performed preliminary activities. They were seamlessly joined by 2 other team members. The installation was efficiently performed with division of labor and completed within a single day.

Chris F and the full installation team, were responsive to any questions we had and in a couple of cases really went beyond what I would have expected such as slightly trimming a bush near the outside AC Unit.

Professor Gatsby's was highly recommended by a friend. In spite of the excellent recommendation, they still very much exceeded my expectations.

In turn I would recommend them to others without reservation.

While Ryan was servicing my HVAC he alerted me to a potential issue with my sump pump which is above and beyond what he needed to do but he just genuinely cares about his customers. Joel came out and educated me on the sump pump, replaced it, and installed a battery operated backup. Both Ryan and Joel were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and good people. I have been using professor Gatsbys for over two years and I won’t use anyone else. Top-notch company with great people.

We had an issue with our water softener tank - it was spraying water everywhere and starting to flood the basement. Of course this happened on a Saturday; I called several companies that claimed to have emergency services on the weekend, but Professor Gatsby’s was the only one to answer. Plumbing manager gave me a call to help get the water shut off until a technician, Sal M., could get here. Sal arrived quickly, identified the problem, and got it fixed for us in about 5 minutes! He was so friendly, too. Highly recommend!

Extremely professional, respectful and knowledgeable! We had a great experience from start to finish. Sal showed up so quickly for an emergency in the evening and helped us get things under control. When the crew arrived for the replacement, they were courteous, introduced themselves and explained everything they were doing along the way. They worked so well together as a team. Kyle oversaw the entire project and was efficient and kept things on track. Overall, it was such a positive experience despite the problem we were facing. Thank you all!!!

Professor Gatsby’s were extremely helpful in resolving our plumbing issue. Sal came out to our house for an emergency evaluation and stayed there until he had a good understanding of what the issue was. It was not an easy fix, but Sal, Dave, and Jason did a good job of explaining everything to us and doing everything they could to get our plumbing up and running again while also being mindful of the cost. Will definitely continue to use Professor Gatsby’s for future needs.

First time using them. Had a water heater installed same day that I called for an estimate. The plumber they sent out, Sal, was polite, down to earth, and seemed very knowledgeable about what he was doing. After he provided the estimate I asked how soon they could do the job. He said he could do it now. Once I accepted, he left to get the heater then came back and worked until around 9:00pm to install it. When the job was done, his work looked like it was done by a professional. I’m not a plumber but his work looked very neat, not messy. If/when I have plumbing or HVAC work in the future, I’ll definitely call Gatsby. Hopefully the rest of their employees have the same high skill level and professionalism as Sal does.

We chose Professor Gatsby based on reviews on google and the way they approach their customers. From the first visit through the installation, everyone on the team were fantastic to work with. They explained everything in great detail so there were no lingering questions. The install team had a hefty job to do, due to our previous system they were removing, but they did it with (what felt like) ease, they left our house spotless and again, we’re just all around nice and easy to work with. We couldn’t be happier and hope that this review helps others make a decision to move forward with Professor Gatsby for any HVAC needs!

I had 2 hvac systems installed on 12/8/23. Within 24 hours, one system stopped working due to "poor airflow." it was resolved, then on 2/1/24 (approx. 1.5 months later, the same system is now down - awaiting a technician). How is this possible? Total of 5 people (including installation, and 2 troubleshooting calls later), it is not working again. It hasn't even been 2 full months. Update: 2/2/24. Technician + Manager came out to troubleshoot, the issue was given high priority, and issue has been resolved. Although I was frustrated with the issue, Prof. Gatsby did resolve it by giving the issue high priority and appropriate level of attention. Was already signed up for long term maintenance package with them, will continue to do business with them. Update: 2/19. The Unit is non-functioning again (mere 17 days later - since last review). Quite frustrated with Professor Gatsby, and experiencing proper buyers remorse. On average, every 3 weeks, I have had to have a service call with professor Gatsby on a unit installed in Dec' 23. Very disappointed and frustrated. Would not recommend again.
