I have used Professor Gatsby twice now. They are absolutely fantastic. The last technician, Iggy was very professional and thorough. He was also able to work with me as I was juggling a work session while he was here. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within a half hour. I highly recommend this company and Iggy. We had just moved in on Dec. 20, 2020 and knew we were going to replace our whole HVAC unit including the hot water heater. We called Prof. Gatsby’s for an estimate. They were punctual and thoroughly explained everything. The best decision we ever made was to use Prof. Gatsby’s. Their crew came 7:40 am and proceeded to cover our floors and take out the old and put in the new. There were a couple of kinks cause of the way our house is set up but they took it in stride and persevered, all the while with smiles, no less! We would highly recommend Prof. Gatsby’s to everyone. The crew was amicable, knowledgeable, clean and very professional. We were very impressed with the high quality of work they performed. The crew was here all day and went above and beyond to finish the job. We wish we could give Prof. Gatsby’s 10 stars - that’s how great they were!

A very professional install and the technchains were all very knowledgeable and professional. All very friendly and they made sure that I understood the mechanics of the newly installed equipment. The manger Steve Lind (not sure of the spelling his last name) introduced himself and his team which made me feel very confident in the job. They all worked so hard and tireless today. Thanks to all of you (Chris Francis, Lee, and Scott)! You all did a fabulous job! 😊

Scheduling was easy and quick with the appointment being made for the very next day. Received a courtesy call to let me know the technician was on the way, and a follow up text with a photo and a brief bio of who I would be expecting. That was an appreciated touch! The tech, Joel B., was both professional and friendly. He explained the issue thoroughly and clearly, and provided quotes for different levels of work depending on our preference. Joel fixed the issue successfully and the whole process was fast, yet efficient!

Very thorough routine maintenance of our heater/AC unit. Arrived within the timeframe with a call to alert me to his immanent arrival. He was respectful of our home and of me. He showed me how to change both filters on the unit. He explained what he would be doing during his visit. Afterwards he explained his findings (the system was in perfect working order) and asked if I had any questions. Payment was very reasonable and easily done at the end of the service. I also signed up for the maintenance plan as I was satisfied with the thoroughness of the summer maintenance done.

We worked with Steve C for initial proposal, selection of units, coordination for rebates and financing. Steve was great through-out including multiple communications over the weekend between our first proposal on Friday and installation on Tuesday.

Through-out the process Steve provided excellent customer service, including support for changes to include Air Conditioner replacement in addition to the Furnace.

Chris F and his team did an excellent job for the installation. Chris and 1 team member arrived promptly at 7:30 as scheduled and performed preliminary activities. They were seamlessly joined by 2 other team members. The installation was efficiently performed with division of labor and completed within a single day.

Chris F and the full installation team, were responsive to any questions we had and in a couple of cases really went beyond what I would have expected such as slightly trimming a bush near the outside AC Unit.

Professor Gatsby's was highly recommended by a friend. In spite of the excellent recommendation, they still very much exceeded my expectations.

In turn I would recommend them to others without reservation.

We have been using Professor Gatsby for many years for our heating and air ! We can't say enough about the quality of workmanship they provide! They are So respectful upon entering your home! They communicate with you ! We recently needed a bathroom upgrade! As they do plumbing we had them install our Jacuzzi tub, toilet and faucets. We are so happy with the Quality of work they provided with very reasonable prices ! We highly recommend calling them first! You will not be disappointed! We give them a 5 Star Review!!

I had 2 hvac systems installed on 12/8/23. Within 24 hours, one system stopped working due to "poor airflow." it was resolved, then on 2/1/24 (approx. 1.5 months later, the same system is now down - awaiting a technician). How is this possible? Total of 5 people (including installation, and 2 troubleshooting calls later), it is not working again. It hasn't even been 2 full months. Update: 2/2/24. Technician + Manager came out to troubleshoot, the issue was given high priority, and issue has been resolved. Although I was frustrated with the issue, Prof. Gatsby did resolve it by giving the issue high priority and appropriate level of attention. Was already signed up for long term maintenance package with them, will continue to do business with them. Update: 2/19. The Unit is non-functioning again (mere 17 days later - since last review). Quite frustrated with Professor Gatsby, and experiencing proper buyers remorse. On average, every 3 weeks, I have had to have a service call with professor Gatsby on a unit installed in Dec' 23. Very disappointed and frustrated. Would not recommend again.
